Rice processing line

A Rice Processing Line refers to a series of equipment and machines used to process raw rice into a polished and ready-to-eat product.
The line typically includes the following steps:

  1. Cleaning and Sorting: The first step involves cleaning the rice to remove dirt, dust, and other impurities. This is done using vibrating screens and destoners.
  2. Dehusking and Hulling: The next step is to remove the outer husk of the rice, which is referred to as dehusking. This is typically done using a rubber roll sheller. The remaining brown rice is then polished to remove the bran layer, which is referred to as hulling.
  3. Whitening: The brown rice is then sent through a series of whitening machines that polish the rice to a white, shiny appearance.
  4. Grading: The next step is to sort the rice based on size, weight, and shape using a grading machine.
  5. Packaging: Finally, the polished rice is packaged in bags, boxes, or containers ready for distribution and sale.

The Rice Processing Line typically includes equipment such as elevators, conveyors, blowers, and control panels, which are used to move the rice from one stage of the process to the next. The line is designed to be efficient, with minimum handling of the rice to prevent breakage and to ensure a high-quality product.
